Vaccination Update
Due to City of Philadelphia mandates, all students, kinesthesia and staff must be fully vaccinated. To register for in-person or hybrid classes, students demand to be fully vaccinated or have an canonical exemption. Students who are not vaccinated or do not have an approved exemption are able to register for fully online courses. Art & Blueprint Program
The Art and Design Program is designed to educate fundamentally sound and creative artists. As a transfer programme, our goal is to gear up and brainwash students so that they have the best transfer options bachelor. All Art and Design students take iv semesters of Drawing classes along with courses in 2 Dimensional Design, 3 Dimensional Design and Computer Graphics. To fulfill the requirements for directed constituent classes, students can cull from Painting, Ceramics, Graphic Design and Photography classes. Studio offerings are enriched with three Art History requirements covering Aboriginal to Contemporary Art. Rounding out the Fine art and Design curriculum is a stiff Liberal Arts core with many options.
Nosotros work closely with our students while they are in our program and all majors have an advisor in the department. The capstone course for the Art and Design program is Portfolio Preparation. It is where students learn most career options, transfer institutions and all aspects of the transfer process.

HOW TO Use
There are a number of ways to get an Fine art and Design major. Students tin declare as an Art and Pattern major before their first grade. They can too take a few art classes earlier they determine if it is the path that they desire to pursue. We strongly encourage potential Art and Design majors to meet with a faculty member earlier they become a major. We offer portfolio reviews and tours to potential students.

Transfer Awards
Each yr, students that successfully consummate the Fine art and Design programme transfer to some of the top Art Schools and Colleges in the country. Most students earn merit scholarships based on portfolios produced in their classes. Students that do well in our program are well-prepared for the next level.
The class of 2017 was offered over $800,00 in merit scholarships.
We take transfer (Articulation) agreements with multiple colleges besides equally dual admission agreements with a number of Philadelphia Colleges.
